Talasi Abbi Falls located 2 km inside the forest from the Masthikatte – Thirthahalli Highway at Sulugodu Grama panchayat Village, Hosanagara Taluk, Shivamogga District, Karnataka State, India. Talasi Abbi falls is some 400 feet high, located inside a deep jungle, and quite dangerous and a desolate place, it advised to travel with a local guide. The best time to visit is between September to January month, since this fall is formed by a Mountain stream it will be live only during the rainy season.

Talasi Abbi Falls located inside the Western Ghats Tropical Forest so the view and sights feel like a fairytale dreamland, with crystal clear water from a mountain stream, the water here is as pure as possible, Bathing, and playing, in water, Jungle trekking, and just relaxing are the things which can be done here.
Things not to at Talasi Abbi Falls is night camping, Trekking in Forest is illegal because this is part of Reserve Forest permission is to visit only the Falls, During the rainy season, the rocks at this falls are highly slippery beware that numerous casualties have reported every year since it is located in Deep Forest all Four types of poisonous snakes can be found here, and leeches during the rainy season so wearing boots is recommended.
