On Day 01, your Arrival at Bengaluru and then to Mysore via NH 275, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, and Mandya 4 hours journey:
Upon your arrival in Bangalore, The Driver meets and greets you at any of the locations in Bangalore, After the initial meet and greet, pick up and then drive to Mysore en route visiting some of the top sights as mentioned below.

» Ramanagaram is nicknamed the silk city, and the popular Bollywood movie Sholay was shooted here. And Ramadevara Betta Hill is India’s only Vulture Sanctuary Known as Ramadevara Betta Vulture Sanctuary.

» Srirangapatna is a Historical Town, it is a river island formed by River Kaveri. The top sights and places of interest here are as below.
Sri Ranganathaswamy temple dates back to the 10th century CE, and this is one of the five sacred Temples of Sri Maha Vishnu popularly known as “Pancharanga Kshetrams” in Southern India, by visiting this temple you will be feeling the bliss of divine, the darshan takes hardly 30 minutes,  below is the video of the temple↓

Ganjam a local village known for rose flower production and yummy Gulkand made out of it, you must try this Flower vegetable dish made out of Roses, Honey, and candy sugar. Jammy taste of this Gulkand surprisingly costs only Rs 30, this Ganjam Village is on the way to Sri Nimishamba Devi Temple.

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is the largest bird sanctuary in Karnataka on the banks of the Kaveri river. Around 169 exotic birds are found here. you can watch these birds like the painted stork, Asian openbill stork, low spoonbill, woolly-necked stork, black-headed ibis, lesser whistling duck, Indian shag, stork-billed kingfisher, egret, cormorant, Oriental darter, and heron The excellent stone plover, river tern, large flock of streak-throated swallows.
Mahadevapura bird sanctuary is also nearby if you are interested in bird watching means you will be driven to this place also.
› by this time you visit these places it will be between 13:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs, and it’s time for Lunch.

» Check in to the hotel in Mysore, then head towards Mysore Zoo, officially the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden, houses over 168 species and is spread over 157 acres, and it is near Mysore palace. Entry fees are Rs 100.  and by choosing an electric vehicle for Rs 150. per person, will save 2 hours for you. » After Zoo, visit St. Philomena’s Cathedral, the second tallest church in Asia (the first being Our Lady of Dolours Basilica in Thrissur) Constructed in the year 1936 CE using the Neo-Gothic style, which was inspired by Cologne Cathedral in Germany.

» KRS dam aka  Krishna Raja Sagara is the primary source of water for both irrigation and drinking water in Mysore, Mandya, and most of Bangalore City. Construction started in 1924, the Ruler of Mysore Kingdom Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and The Chief Engineer and also Diwan of Mysore Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, Together built Asia’s biggest dam then. Brindavan garden inspired by Shalimar Gardens of Srinagar, located on the banks of the KRS dam lights up in the evening light, and it’s a music fountain garden.
» Mysore has many geographical indication (GI)tags for produce and crafts namely,  Mysore-silks, ganjifa, Mysore-Banana, Mysore-Sandalwood, Mysore-mallige (Jasmine), Mysore- Agarbathi, Mysore Pak, Late evening time for some shopping.  and then drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mysore. On Day 02: Mysore to Ooty via NH 766 and NH 181 distance of 130 km and a 4-7 hour journey.

Today you have to get ready by 6:00 hrs in the morning, drive to Chamundi hills to visit the,

» Sri Chamundeshwari temple: As per Adi Guru Sri Shankaracharya Astadasha Shakti Peetha Stotram, the Chamundi hills are one of the Astadasa Shakti Peetha. One of the seven most sacred peaks in South India.

» Chamundi Hills and its surrounding area is mentioned as KraunchaPitham in Skanda Purana this place is referred to as KraunchaPuri. Sri Mahabaleshwara temple: Originally built in the 8th Century Dedicated to Lord Sri Shiva, the charming architecture of Hoysala, Ganga, Chola, Vijayanagar, and other kings. Mahishasura statue, the Statue of Demon from which the current name of Mysore is derived. Nandi statue big bull: Third largest monolithic statue of Nandi in India is carved out of Single black granite. Also a panoramic view of Mysore City, Mysore palace, and Lalitha mahal palace. it will take at least 1 hour for you to explore all these monuments in Chamundi Hills.

» Did you know, the present-day Mysore name is derived from the name of a demon by the name Mahishasura, a statue is dedicated to him, below is the video of Mahishasura located in Chamundi hill.

Sound and light programs are between 7 and 7:45, except on Sundays and public holidays. we suggest you hire a guide in Mysore palace who charges Rs 400/- for couples, by this you will understand more, and explore more of this massive size palace.

» Inside premises of Mysore palace:  There are 12 temples, namely, Someshwara Temple, Lakshmi Ramana Temple, Shweta Varahaswamy Temple, Sri Prasanna Krishna Swamy Temple, Sri Bhuvaneshwari Temple, Kodi Someshwara Swamy Temple, Sri Gayatri Temple, Sri Trineshwara temple and others. Some are built in the 14th Century. The Annapurna, another Building beside Mysore palace, houses the exclusive collections of Costumes and dress materials of the yesteryears kings and queens. This was built some 600 years ago.

» Nanjangud officially known as Nanjangudu on the banks of the River Kapila Srikanteshwara Temple is an 11th Century built Temple. » Gundlupet can be called Gateway to Ooty, Wayanad, and the last big town on the Karnataka border also famous for the 10th century Vijayanarayana Temple.
» Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta: At a height of 4757 feet MSL’s highest peak in the Bandipur National Park in the core area. Dense fog predominates and covers the hills around.
» Bandipur Tiger Reserve And National Park, Jungle Jeep safari is possible, timings 6 am to 9.30 am. Bandipur National park is the first national park in India to use drones to track poachers. Deers, Elephants, Bison, Black-faced monkey, and other wild animals roam freely on the road itself.
» Mudumalai National Park is adjacent to Bandipur National park both are part of the vast Niligiri Biosphere. Masinagudi is one of the remote villages in Mudumalai national park from here Ooty peaks can be enjoyed.
» After Madumalai, you will be reaching Gudalur and entering the Tamilnadu state from Karnataka state, The Taxi cab which has been provided to you has to take the Interstate permit here, it will take 15-30 minutes, the driver will take off those things, in the meantime, you can have the Lunch break here.

» Ooty Film Shooting point, also called Wenlock Downs 9th Mile Shooting point is a hilltop with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Eastern Ghats, you can spend at least 1 hour enjoying here.

» Pykara Lake on the backdrop of the Pine forest is ideal for boating, Pykara Falls is the most visited Falls in Ooty, Pykara village is scenic and you can see the step farming, cabbage, and Ooty carrot. Ooty-apple cultivation here.

» Kotagiri is the oldest hill station of Nilgiris, famous for Tea estates, Catherine Falls, Kodanad View Point, and Longwood Shola.
» Doddabetta peak: At an elevation of 8652 feet, it is the fourth highest peak in South India and the highest in the Nilgiris range. panoramic 360-degree view of Ooty, Mettupalayam/Coimbatore, avalanche dam, and Mukurthi Peak, Due to its height it may rain anytime here, so you should be carrying an umbrella.

» Doddabetta Tea Factory and Chocolate Museum, you will be gaining knowledge about not only how Tea leaves are processed, but also the art of Making proper Tea Brewing.
»  Nilgiri Mountain Railway: Built in the year 1908 CE, relies on its fleet of steam locomotives. UNESCO added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to the World Heritage Site. Diesel locomotives have taken over from steam on the section between Coonoor and Udhagamandalam.
» Ooty Lake & Boathouse: The Boathouse offers Paddle boats, Rowboats, and Motorboats. This is an artificial lake constructed by John Sullivan, in the year 1824, with additional charges.
